The Idolatrous Mocking of the Christmas Tree

A word of Wisdom
On,

The Idolatrous Mocking of the Christmas Tree

... of the Devil.

On the tree,
- The birth of Christ has nothing to do with a tree.
- Jesus suffered and was crucified on the cross, a tree.
- Not mentioned in the Bible to celebrate any events using a tree except pagan practices (Jeremiah 10:2-5 and more in Appendix)

On the star at the top,
- Make the tree Christian by putting the Star of Bethlehem on top of the tree.
- Really??!!

On the decorations,
- The different decorations symbolises the fruit of the tree, some trinkets of decorations are pretty, some are not so pretty.
- Adam and Eve was deceived to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil in which was forbidden by God.

On the gifts,
- The many gifts of the pleasures of the world are submitted under the tree wrapped in paper mystery.
- Jesus died on the tree to openly give us the gift of Eternal Life and the gift of the the Holy Spirit to everyone who repented and submitted under Him to receive them.

On Santa Claus,
- A fat hearty man in red warm winter clothings giving gifts to children. All the children of the world recognise him and readily receive him and his gifts.
- He gave himself the prideful title of a Saint for giving out presents. But aren't all true believers be called saints according to the Bible?
- The blood of Christ was spilled all over His tortured and scrawny naked body that covers us for the remission of sin. Whosoever believe in His Name shall receive the power to become the sons of God.

John 1:10-12 KJV
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Isaiah 53:6 KJV
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

2 Peter 2:14-15 KJV
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

Luke 6:39 KJV
And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

Luke 18:8 KJV
Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

John 6:66-67 KJV
From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Then said Jesus unto the twelve,
Will ye also go away?

James 1:27 KJV
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this,
To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

On Pagan Worship and Trees

Jeremiah 10:2-5 KJV
Thus saith the Lord,
Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. [5] They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Deuteronomy 16:21-22 KJV
Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the Lord thy God, which thou shalt make thee.
Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the Lord thy God hateth.

2 Kings 16:3-4 KJV
But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel.
And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.

2 Kings 17:10 KJV
And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree:

Ezekiel 6:13 KJV
Then shall ye know that I am the Lord, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

Ezekiel 20:28 KJV
For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
