Honour the Lord

A word of Wisdom
On Honour the Lord

Mark 7:6-9,13 KJV
He answered and said unto them,
Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written,
This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
[7] Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
[8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
[9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

[13] Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Are you blindly following the traditions and rules of the church without knowing qnd understanding Jesus' commandments in the Word?

Are you rrading His Word daily or do you open your Bible once a weekend?

Are you worshipping God day and night within and without in your heart or do you worship God only once a weekend?

Do you honour Jesus' commandments and make efforts to live His Way, Truth and Life out at all in your daily life?

Do you abide in Christ or in the world?

Do you even desire to "come after Him", "deny yourself", "take up your cross" and "follow Him"?

If you are not, you are in danger of being one of the hypocrites Isaiah prophesied, who "honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me".

Repent.
