A word of Knowledge: Easter?

A word of Knowledge:

Easter?

The Origin of Easter

Easter {or the feast of Ishtar) actually originated as an ancient pagan celebration of the spring equinox and the renewal of life.

In Christianity, the day was dedicated to observing the resurrection of Jesus Christ, celebrated around the time of the Jewish Passover.
However, it is the Resurrection Day we are celebrating and nothing at all to do with the pagan day Easter.
The Church has sadly been making the grievous error of celebrating the "Resurrection Day"  as "Easter" .

Let us look at how the word Easter was used in Scripture.

Acts 12:3-4 KJV And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
[4] And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

This is the only place where the word "Easter" was used and it is by Herod the Roman king, who is likely a pagan or following after pagan observances himself.
The day of Easter that Herod referred to was after the Passover and after the Days of Unleavened Bread.
Yes, it is only used once in the entire Bible and out of the mouth of a non-believer.

Everywhere else, the Apostles and disciples never referred to the day of Jesus' resurrection as Easter but only made references to the Jewish Passover every single time!

Here is a simple order to keep in mind:

Passover (14 Abib), then Days of Unleavened Bread (15-21 Abib), then pascha.

Please note that Passover was before the Days of Unleavened Bread, and this pascha Herod was waiting was after the Days of Unleavened Bread. Therefore while Herod may have been waiting for Easter (the feast of Ishtar*, which the Greeks also called pascha), he was not waiting for Passover.

That is why the King James Bible, in this single instance, had to translate pascha by a word other than Passover.

Exodus 20:3-6 KJV
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

[4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

[5] Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
[6] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Easter is an image of nature or idol worship.

Alas! brethrens, do not be deceived by the wolves and false teachers!
Let us now be awaken from this foolishness of blind idolatry and stop celebrating the pagan day of spring equinox, Easter, and come back to celebrate the Passover or the Resurrection Day.

Do you have no fear of the Lord?

Call the festive day for what it is and not what it is not, that is an abomination.

Matthew 22:37-38 KJV
Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
[38] This is the first and great commandment.
