What does it mean to be a Christ-ian?
Being a Christian does not mean going to church services and prayer meetings, nor getting yourself busy with church activities nor fellowship with one another nor even regular bible studies.
These are religious forms and traditions of man that may or may not help in your walk as a Christian. It is not what it means to be a Christ-ian.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 KJV
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
[27] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
To be a fully biblical Christ-ian is to be a true follower of Christ,
1) Jesus is the Life of Your spirit
You have to be absolutely possessed by the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
You have to be willingly and absolutely surrender your spirit, soul and body fully to the Spirit of Christ;
your will, your mind, your emotions, your body, your deeds.
You have to deny yourself from the traditions of man, religion, the religious-minded, the worldly and the desires of your carnal flesh and the devil.
regardless of the circumstances and situations you are in.
Mark 12:30 KJV
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength
Now, in order to be possessed by the Holy, Almighty God to dwell in you as His temple,
You need to be baptised by Jesus Christ Himself.
Luke 3:16-17 KJV
John answered, saying unto them all,
I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose:
he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
[17] Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
Acts 1:4-5 KJV
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem,
but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
[5] For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
You need to be baptised with the Holy Ghost by Christ Jesus,
with the evidence of the speaking of an unknown tongue as a confirmation of assurance that you have indeed supernaturally received God Himself.
John 14:17 KJV
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
However, you cannot receive the gift of the Holy Spirit before you you have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and is saved; being born again with a new spirit.
That is the prerequisite, although both Salvation and Baptism with the Holy Spirit could occur in a moments time.
Romans 10:9-10 KJV
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2) Jesus is the Truth of Your soul
Christ Jesus is the Word of God.
John 1:14 KJV
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
You need to abide in the Word of God, meditate in the Word day and night to renew your mind with the mind of Christ.
Romans 12:2 KJV
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Ephesians 4:20-24 KJV
But ye have not so learned Christ;
[21] If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
[22] That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
[23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
[24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

3) Jesus is the Way of Your body
You have to submit your body to the Spirit of Christ.
Hebrews 10:5 KJV
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,
Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
[20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Therefore, the conclusion of the matter of what it means to be a Christ-ian is simply this,

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
