A word of Wisdom:

Do Christians need to respond to the Olympic Games, Opening Ceremony?

The Olympic Games is the paying of tributes to or even the worship of the twelve Olympians, greek gods who reside in Mount Olympus.

Why should there be any surprise or even outrage over the Opening Ceremony or the satanic rituals?
They are simply doing what pagan worshippers do.

The real question to Christians should have been,

Why are you watching and even participating in the athletic events of the Olympic Games, the very acts of idolatry of the greek gods?

1 Kings 18:21 KJV
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said,
How long halt ye between two opinions?
if the LORD be God, follow him:
but if Baal, then follow him.
And the people answered him not a word.

Why are you going after idols of men whose idols are the greek gods?

Mark 12:30 KJV
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:
this is the first commandment.

Christians should have nothing to do with the Olympic Games at all.

John 18:36 KJV
Jesus answered,
My kingdom is not of this world:
if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Our Kingdom is not of this world, so there is really nothing to respond to.

Let the sinners of this world do the things that they are expected to do anyway.

Matthew 22:21 KJV
Then saith He unto them,
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

Why should you be bothered by the world or even be deceived into being a part of them?

John 16:33 KJV
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The right response for Christians is therefore simply,
Don't watch.
Forgive.

Matthew 12:32 KJV
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:

    Love this because I totally agree! Listen in Psalms 16:4(NLT)Those who chase after other God's will be filled with sorrow, I will not take part in their sacrifices or even speak the name of their gods!

A word of Knowledge Stop depicting the Holy Spirit as a dove Luke 3:22 KJV And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Many people, if not everyone, have misunderstood this verse. They pictured the Holy Spirit coming in the shape of a dove coming down upon Jesus. No, this is not what God is telling us at all.  What purpose does it serve to tell us the Holy Spirit looks like a dove where He obviously does not look like that?  God is not the author of foolishness and  confusion.  We are made in God's image, therefore, God the Holy Spirit's bodily shape is one that resembles that of a man, just as God the Son and God the Father. Now, let us read the verse again slowly: "And the Holy Ghost descended in a BODILY SHAPE like a dove upon him" ...in what bodily shape? It is of course in the shape of a man!
