A Sinner's Prayer To Receive Jesus As Saviour

A Sinner's Prayer To Receive Jesus As Saviour

John 3:16-21 KJV For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Romans 10:8-10 KJV But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the Name of Jesus.
Your Word says,
". . . him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).
So I know You won't cast me out, but You take me in.
And I thank You for it.

You said in Your Word,
"... if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED....
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom. 10:9,13).

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification.
I am calling upon His Name—the Name of Jesus—so I know, Father, that You save me now.

Your Word says,
". . . with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Rom. 10:10).

I do believe with my heart, and I confess Jesus now as my Lord.
Therefore I am saved!
Thank You, Father!
