  A word of Knowledge: Praying and Singing  1 Corinthians 14:14-15 KJV For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.  [15] What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also:  I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. Romans 8:5-6 KJV For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. For those of us who desire to grow in spiritual maturity in the knowledge of things of the Spirit, Do as per Paul (inspired by the Holy Spirit) instructed. You need to obey and do it first to experience it yourself,  and then the understanding of the blessings and benefits will come later, afterwards. Lake Ministry Back when Dr. Lake had his healing rooms up in Spokane a woman came to the healing room to be prayed for.  She'd been prayed for several times, no result, nothing changed, so finally they came to him and said,  "Brother Lake, this is what we’re doing, and it doesn't seem to be working. We can't just get it to.”  And so he said,  "Well, alright, I’ll pray for her; I’ll deal with her."  So, they took her off to the side and he sat down next to her and he started talking to her and she said,  "Yeah, I know, you know if you just lay hands and I know, yeah, and I know healing is in the atonement, yeah, I know."  She already knew all the doctrine, she knew everything. Do you understand?  People that know the doctrine are usually the HARDEST people to get healed, because they already know it.  It's like reading a scripture you’ve read a thousand times before.  ...
