The spirit of man
There is no other faith-based belief nor religion nor science nor any teachings of the world that speaks of the spirit of man,
except the Holy Bible of Christianity, the very Word of God.
Only the true Creator of man could teach men about their true nature and origin; everything else are made up by the imperfect, limited knowledge of man himself.
The world or the natural man only knows of the soul and body of man but are not aware that man is really a triune being, made up of a spirit, a soul and a body,
just as God is a Triune Being.
God is a spirit and man is made in the image of God.
Thetefore,
Man is a spirit, having a soul, that lives in a physical body.
John 4:24 KJV
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Genesis 9:6 KJV
for in the image of God made He man.
The body interacts on the physical realm with the physical world based on the physical senses.
The soul interacts on the mental or metaphysical realm with the natural world.
The spirit interacts on the spiritual realm with God and spiritual beings; both good and evil, in the spiritual realm.
The Natural Man:
The spirit of the natural man of the world is asleep to the communications with God and the spiritual realm and is not able to comprehend God at all.
The natural man no access to his own spirit and is only able to rely on his soul and mind and emotions and senses.
The nature of his spirit is that of the fallen man, Adam.
Having no access to his spirit to God to guide his soul, his nature is evil, whose father is the devil.
The Supernatural Man:
Whereas, the spirit of the supernatural man or the born again believer in Christ, is in a constant, unceasing communication with God Himself.
Yes, he constantly hears and speaks with God whether he knows it or not.
The nature of the spirit of the supernatural man is love, just as God is love, because it is a new spirit bestowed by God to replace or regenerate the old adamaic fallen spirit.
1 John 4:16 KJV
God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Now, if you (supernatural man) have received the baptism with the Holy Spirit, meaning you have received the gift of the Holy Spirit of God to dwell in you as His temple,
your born again new spirit will come into an union with the Holy Spirit of God as one forever.
Yes, that's God coming upon you to live in you!
When He comes to dwell in you permanently:
- He will bestow upon your new spirit the ability to utter (which before could not speak),
and you will speak in an unknown tongue to the natural man and the demonic beings but a common language to God and the supernatural man.
- He will bestow upon you supernatural power and supernatural gifts to reign in the Kingdom of God on earth;
to overcome the works of the forces and kingdom of darkness, whose ruler is the devil.
- He will comfort you and guide you and teach you onto all things of God that the natural carnal man is not able to comprehend.
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 KJV
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
[11] For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

For the natural man:
Do you want to possess this new spirit that is born of the Spirit of God?
Read the Word of God, the Bible for yourself.
Believe in your heart that Jesus is God, is The Saviour
and confess Him as the Lord of your life with your mouth!
(Just do that on the spot where you are and the Omnipresent God will hear)
Romans 10:9-10 KJV
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Note: it is possible that you may be a church goer and considered youself as a believer but yet have not been born again;
...when your belief in Christ is only a mental agreement and not from the heart or you have never confess Jesus Christ as your Lord.)
~~~
For the supernatural man:
Have you received the Baptism with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of having received this marvelous supernatural gift with the speaking in an unknown tongue?
Ask the Father to bestow the Holy Spirit in Jesus' Name, and Jesus will come and baptize you with the Holy Spirit!
Acts 19:2 KJV
Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?
Luke 11:13 KJV
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
John 14:12-18 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
[13] And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
[14] If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
[18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
