Wealth, Health, Success

A word of Wisdom
On Wealth, Health, Success

We know that the people of the world are obsessed with the seeking of wealth, health and success in their life.

Do you think the followers of Christ living in this world have no need of these things?

Do you think it is God's will for His children to be living in poverty, to be weak and sickly and to be a failure in our life?

By no means! No!!
On the contrary, the Bible which is the Word of God, is full of the good news, wisdom, laws and principles for His children to enjoy wealth, health and success in this world.

Let us take a look at just a few examples.

Wealth:

Proverbs 3:9-10 KJV
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
[10] So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Isaiah 1:19 KJV
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Malachi 3:10 KJV
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 KJV
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give ; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
[8] And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Health:

Proverbs 3:5-8 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
[6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
[7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
[8] It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Proverbs 17:22 KJV
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Isaiah 40:29-31 KJV
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
[30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
[31] But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Matthew 8:17 KJV
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
[2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
[3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Joshua 1:8 KJV
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Kingdom First

However, the error of some believers, being led astray by wolves in sheepskins, is that they made the seekng of wealth, health and success as the priority and primary desires of their life, just like the people of the world.

But verily verily, these things ought not to be so!
It is against the will of God and He is very displeased and sternly disapproved of such!

The Kimgdom of God must absolutely be the first priority of our life and then all these earthly things shall be provided when we follow the instructions of His Word for these things.

It is written,

Matthew 6:33-34 KJV
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
[34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Colossians 3:1-3 KJV
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
[2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
[3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
