Faith and Hope
A word of Knowledge
On Faith and Hope
Hebrews 11:1 KJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Romans 4:17 KJV
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Romans 4:20-21 KJV
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Romans 4:20-21 KJV
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
[21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Faith is based on the Word of God.
Did the Word said it?
Did you base your faith in the Word or your feelings and thoughts?
2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Mark 10:51-52 KJV
And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
[52] And Jesus said unto him,
Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
Isaiah 1:19 KJV
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him : for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Mark 11:23-24 KJV
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
[24] Therefore I say unto you,
What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Isaiah 35:8-10 KJV
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
[9] No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there :
[10] And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Incidentally came across these verses for pondering:
Romans 10:8-9 KJV
But what saith it?
The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
So clearly to be saved is to have faith to confess with my mouth and to believe in my heart!
The Lord gave me in a flash the understanding that why Churchianity demands water baptism to determine that one has received salvation in the following verses and similar ones:
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
[16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
=> They have misunderstood the word "baptized" here.
Jesus spoke of this to the disciples AFTER His resurrection and before His ascension.
In Acts 1:5 He said,
For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
=> It appears very likely that He had told them this verse before the commisiion/instruction in Mark 16:16 above.
The context for the word "baptized" is surely referring to Jesus' own baptism with the Holy Ghost!
He couldn't be referring to John Baptist's water baptism since it is written Jesus Himself never did baptized anyone but His disciples did it and before His ascension and Pentecost the disciples have also not water baptized believers in the Name of Jesus yet!
Why all the seminary educated pastors and professors and theologians are blind to this point?!!
I've not seen anyone preach or write on this before...
