A Real-life Deliverance Account

My sister and I had just done a deliverance on my mum yesterday (Tue, 28 Nov 2023). 

It started when she kept vomitting and feeling very giddy and we laid hands upon her as usual according to the Word for divine healing. 

However, it merely gave some relief to her, unlike other times as after a while, the extreme nauseousness and giddiness attacked her again.
Then right around this point the demon took over her mind (soul) somewhat partially. The symptoms was that she looked dazed and kept repeating over and over again a number of questions like "Why am I sitting here" etc. 

At this point when we talked to her, she did not remember anything that she did for the whole day (current time around 4pm+). It is very much like how a person with dementia would behaved and conversed. 

To keep the long story short, we took 2-3 hrs of casting out the demons in her and she is well now.

Fast forward, It appeared that the demons came from H***i B***r (American Missionary) who came to our small church on Nov 10 for a prayer meeting earlier on. Needless to say, my mum also went to the meeting with us (total 7 of us) and was prayed for along with the rest of us (6 of us received the laying on of hands).

Now, back to the deliverance. We did not have had much breakthrough for more than 2 hrs of casting out and only had small victories which according to our discernment were  signs of other secondary demons coming out of her. 

It was only until the Holy Spirit impressed upon my spirit that the demons came from the American Missionary in that previous prayer meeting. We acted upon this revelation and immediately the primary demon started to manifest. That evil spirit came out of my mum's mouth with a burp.

Next, with her body straightened, she started lying back slowly while seated on a stool (with no support). It was rather amazing that she did not fall when leaning back almost parallel to the floor.  (...she had recovered enough to be able to take dinner on her own sitting on the stool)
On seeing this, we carried her to lie down on the sofa nearby.

Now, knowing the identity of the primary evil spirit this time, we continued in the deliverance, full of faith in Jesus. The last demon came out of her in a matter of few minutes.

Initially, when she was awaken from her slumber, she was confused but we saw that her countenance had brightened back. She showed no memory of what had happened to her for the past 4-5 hrs and tried to sort out her memory for the next few hrs. 

It was as though she had dreamt many dreams.

Reflections:

In retrospect, my mum is the only one who has not received the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. 
But let us be clear that she is a saved, born again and water baptised believer. 

My 2 sisters, 2 nieces and I (5 of us) who were touched by the American Missionary's hands in prayers are all baptised with the Holy Spirit and  spoke in tongues. We are not affected by the evil spirits although there were spiritual attacks. 
The exception is the younger niece whose body manifested itchiness, swelling and rashes for no apparent reason since the day before. This we had confirmations from the Lord that it is caused by the same evil spirits. 
She is now healed and had recovered almost immediately upon us knowing the cause and being prayed for against it.

Lessons: 

1) God is real.

2) The devil is real.

3) Do not allow ministers to lay hands on you for prayers or healings or baptisms unless you know the person's life well, regardless of how famous they are or their positions or whom they say they are.
It is better not to be laid hands on by strangers because you have no idea what spirits could be on them. 

4) If you are Spirit-filled, no demons can harm you.
But then again, if you are Spirit-filled, you do not need anyone else to lay their hands on you at all since you are equally of the royal priesthood and sons of God as they are. 

5) If the demons had not been cast out, obeying according to Jesus' command,  
you would have sent for the doctors and be diagnosed as Dementia and remained so, for the rest of the person's life.
