On How Divine Healing Works
Romans 10:17 KJV
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Many of us who professed to be believers yet have never believed or are even ignorant of the divine healing (and health) that God has provided us through Jesus Christ.
They have read the Bible and came across recordings of healings but have never believed that healing is for us.
In fact, even at the cost of disobeying Jesus' command for us to heal the sick.
Believers that don't believe!
Different methods and ways are recorded in the Word that instructs us on how to minister healing to others as well as to receive it for ourselves.
However, it is not by the methods that is being employed that gets the sick healed or otherwise.
Divine Healing is really by faith that comes by the hearing of the Word of God.
That is how it actually works in every case; whether be it by the faith of the minister or be it by the faith of the person being ministered to. It is by grace through faith.
Acts 14:6-10 KJV
They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:
[7] And there they preached the gospel.
[8] And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
[9] The same heard Paul speak:
who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
[10] Said with a loud voice,
Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
Notice that Paul preached the gospel in v7 and then the crippled man heard Paul's preaching and v9 "he had faith to be healed" and then he was healed without Paul ever touching him.
What do you think Paul preached on, that when the crippled man heard and thus had faith to receive healing?
Is it the Gospel of the Salvation from sins, that is the only thing we hear from modern preachers and pastors?
No! That will not get any one healed or saved from sicknesses.
Well, it must have been that Paul preached the Full Gospel - not a partial Gospel that modern preachers preached;
That is, including, the Salvation of the body or simply that Jesus heals even now and today by His Atonement on the cross!
He is not only sble to forgive your sins but also to heal you.
He has took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
By His stripes we are healed!
That is really the part of the Gospel that the crippled man heard which caused his "faith cometh" for his healing!
Therefore, it is only when you preached healing that faith for healings may be manifested, that Jesus Christ may be glorified!
How else will the sick and the hearers of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God have the faith needed for healing?
Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
