What Fruits?

A word of Wisdom

What Fruits?

Matthew 7:19-20 KJV
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
[20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

What fruits are you known by God?

Matthew 7:22-23 KJV
Many will say to me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

What is our Lord's desire for us in serving Him?

Let's categorise and rank our Lord's expectations of us that is pleasing to Him by our works.

We will rank His preference according to our works mentioned in the verse above:

A) wonderful works - "in thy name have", "prophesied',"cast out devils" and "done many wonderful works"

B) work iniquity - wilfully trangress the law, did not want to obey His commandments

~~~
The Lord's Preference:
1. A and not B
- We have done the wonderful works in His Name and also did not work iniquity.
- The Lord do know us and is pleased with our fruits.
2. Not A and not B
- We have not done any wonderful works in His Name but did not work iniquity.
- The Lord do know us.
3. A and B
- We have done wonderful works in His Name but did work iniquity.
(Matthew 7:22-23)
- The Lord do not know us.
4. Not A and B
- We have not done any wonderful works in His Name and also did work iniquity.
- The Lord do not know us nor is He pleased.
Which category do you think you are in?
Does the Lord even know you?
Is He pleased with your works?
Romans 8:1-2 KJV
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Galatians 5:25 KJV
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
