Beautiful Church Buildings

A word of Wisdom
On Beautiful Church Buildings

Mark 13:1-2 KJV
And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him,
Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here !
[2] And Jesus answering said unto him,
Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Jesus' message is double-fold.
Besides the obvious prophetic message that the Temple will soon be physically destroyed,
He is also saying that we will no longer need the temple building where the Presence and Glory of God is no longer found there.
It is the center of the disobedience to God to seeve their own desires and the sins of the oppressive religious system the clergy (Pharisees and scribes) created.

John 2:19,21 KJV
Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
[21] But he spake of the temple of his body.

After Jesus baptised the disciples with the Holy Spirit in the Day of Pentecost, Christians no longer need to go to the temple to worship nor the synagogues to gather for prayers, instructions, and community which are led and taught by the clergy.

1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We are now able to worship God in spirit and in truth anywhere and in our own houses, gathering for prayers, instructions, and community by the fellowship of the Holy Spirit and not the ckergy.

John 14:26 KJV
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 KJV
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
[5] And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
[6] And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
[7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

Ephesians 5:19-21 KJV
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
[20] Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
[21] Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

It is nothing like the Churchianity of today where the church functions both as a temple and a synagogue.
Everything is oriented towards the church building just like the temple.

2 Timothy 3:5 KJV
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

After Pentecost, there is also no longer a clergy to feed nor buildings to maintain like the Pharisees and scribes who lived off the wealth and poverty of the saints and widows alike.
Everyone earns their own living in the early Church, as much as is possible, according to the works of their own trades.
Every Christian serves their brethrens humbly and willingly without expecting payments or salaries unlike the Pharisees and scrobes who also lord over the people.

Matthew 9:16 KJV
No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

The Churchianity way is really attributed to the priests in the Old Covenant, but now, are we not all royal priests in the New Covenant?
Are we not as equals, being the children of God, every one of us?

Alas! Look at all the beautiful and grandoise church buildings that we have erected once again in present times and the ritualised and ceremonial religious systems we have set up in the name of Christianity.
Is that any different from the ways of the Pharisees and scribes?
Is that any different from the ways of the pagan temples of the world?
Isn't it just as oppressive and authoritarian and hierarchical which is no difference from how the fallen world works?

2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Will you choose to continue to ignore Jesus' Way, Truth and Life that He has shown us in the Word?

Luke 18:7-8 KJV
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
[8] I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
