The Reverand

A word of Wisdom
To the Reverand

Reverand
The term is an anglicisation of the Latin reverendus, the style originally used in Latin documents in medieval Europe.
It is the gerundive or future passive participle of the verb revereri ("to respect; to revere"), meaning "[one who is] to be revered/must be respected".

By being called a Reverand, you are insisting to the people you are to be revered or must be respected.
This is against the Word of God.

Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Our Lord Jesus called us to be humble, not to exalt men but to exalt God. Yet we insist to continue in this tradition of man, making us no different from the world.

Luke 18:9-14 KJV
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
[10] Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
[11] The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
[12] I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
[13] And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
[14] I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Let us not be blinded by the world nor be led astray by the blind leaders leading the blind.
Come out of the world!

Acts 7:51 KJV

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
