On the great signs and wonders of the antichrist
There is a great error of misunderstanding in this matter.
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 KJV
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:23-24 KJV
The great signs and wonders to be performed by the antichrist and the false prophets and teachers are NOT the same as the miracles and signs done by Jesus and the disciples before and after Pentecost.
They are certainly NOT any of these good works and CANNOT be so:
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;
he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luke 4:18 KJV
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils:
freely ye have received, freely give.
Matthew 10:8 KJV
And this is the VERY REASON:
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them,
Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

If the signs and wonders of the antichrist are of the same kinds as those commanded to us by Jesus, then the Word has contradicted itself!
God will never contradict Himself!
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Proverbs 30:5-6 KJV
35 ... and the scripture cannot be broken;
John 10:35 KJV
In fact, it is PRECISELY by the good WORKS of the preachers, teachers and prophets that we are able to discern whether they are of God or whether they are false spirits!
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
John 10:37-38 KJV
But of course, these are mortal men and not perfect as Jesus is, they will still fall prey to the temptations of the carnal flesh and err in one way or another and certainly not in these works of our Father.
There are many men of God who may have begun right in the Holy Spirit in the beginning but eventually ended in the flesh or even tempted by the demonic spirits.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:15-18 KJV
We are to test their love of God (God's kind of love, agape), characters and their intentions and results of their ministry works (fruits).
But DO NOT be confused, this is not referring to the good works of the Father!
It is a very subtle error but nevertheless has been effectively misleading believers to dismiss so many preachers as being false teachers and prophets or even antichrist by the wrong tests!
Take great care that you are not being deceived by the Enemy.
31 Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:
but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

On the great signs and wonders of the antichrist
