Image of the Beast

Let's examine the Scripture:

Revelation 13:15-17 KJV
[15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

[I guess most of us who refused to worship the image of the beast would already have been killed.
I speculate that this image has something to do with money ...]

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

[Those left that did not refuse to worship the image of the beast (money) receive a mark.
I speculate the right hand and foreheads refers to a metaphor unknown now. ("in" and not "on" ... right hand is singular and foreheads plural)]

[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

[Not just the mark but the name and the number ... seems many have misread this part.
I speculate it to be cryptocurrency tokens as the mark, name is the cryptocurrency name/type, and number is the private/public key addresses. ]

Presently, there is a trend that Central Banks of the world to adopt cryptocurrencies in the form of Central Bank Digital Currency or CBDC, in which China, Ukraine and other countries have already started using...
This will transform the world on the form of money to digital money..
And the CBDC could be the image of the beast that Revelations is telling us.
If that is the case, then the devil does not need to devise much deceptions nor persuasions to make us worship the Mammon.

Refusing to worship the image of the beast could simply be refusing to comply to government authorities to convert your fiat paper money to digital money as the legal tender where you might be enticed with bonuses.
I imagine the conversion to the digital currency will also require that you bind your life to the image of the beast, perhaps to process the monetary transactions via microchips.. something that force us to the worship of the beast in doing so.

Matthew 6:24 KJV

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
