Discerning the Saints

Matthew 11:29 KJV
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Yes, "meek and lowly in heart" and a soul that is at rest in Christ.
We can easily discern the true followers of Christ by their outward manners and their inward response towards other men, rather than what our senses-knowledge driven eyes see and ears hear.

The meekness and lowliness and rest in Christ are really the expression of a deep and immense love of God or God's kind of love, in which, outside of these can only be pride and Self.

If we did not take His yoke upon us and follow after Him to learn of His meekness and lowliness in heart, can we even be considered to be His disciple?

Regardless of our Christian titles, achievements, strivings, spiritual gifts and intellectual knowledge of His Word, we are merely become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

You may be a popular and powerful pastor, evangelist, teacher, healing minister, prophet or an apostle, or even a Spirit-filled believer,
However, if you are not meek and lowly in heart, you are not an authentic saint of the Kingdom of God. It is just that.

How many high and mighty ministers are there in the Body of Christ, thinking they are something but are really nothing when measured by this rule.

Now, before we judge one another and start calling names and criticising any of our brethrens, let us judge ourselves first.

Matthew 7:2 KJV
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Keeping these things in mind, let us take a good honest look at the ministers we follow online or offline and separate out the wheats from the tares. You may be surprised by how few wheats are actually out there.
