A word of Knowledge On faith in the Word of God
A word of Knowledge
On faith in the Word of GodSo then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 KJV
Instructions on reading the Word to build faith.
1) The Word is meant to be read aloud, you need to hear with your ears.
2) The Word is God the Father's instructions to His children, you.
3) Read out loud with the passion of a humble child; keep in mind the love of the Father for you , His child, in every story, parable, commandment, sentence and word that you read.
4) Do not cut off the Father's private conversation with you even when you come across a difficult word or passage. What good child will interrupt their Father's conversation halfway through. You need to hear and listen. Reverence is needed.
5) The Father will show you and teach you what you need to know and understand at the same time while you are reading. God is not limited by your man's ways and does not need your help to make you understand His Word.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 KJV
Faith is being build up in you "hearing by the Word of God". It did not say faith is build up by the intellectual understanding of the Word of God.
Your spirit hears the Word and is being build up even if your mind do not comprehend what you heard, even if it is read in a language you do not understand.
To comprehend His Word, you simply need to ask Him to teach you rather than seek man's help in scholastic commentaries and the original Greek or Hebrew words.
If you ask the Father in the Name of Jesus, He will do it.
God is not limited by languages and words.
His Word is not merely a printed word of the mind but it is able to penetrate your heart, dividing the soul and the spirit.
And they said one to another,
Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
Luke 24:32 KJV
Be sure the Bible you read is the true Word of God, unblemished by the opinions and interpretations of other men and not changed by the conceited intellects of mortal man.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
Deuteronomy 4:2 KJV
Important:
Be sure that you really believe the Bible version you are using is the very Word of God, regardless of the language.
Signs that you are in doubt.
- You run to scholars' commentaries the moment you do not understand a passage.
Why would you rather believe in the words of man than the words of God?
Do you not believe that the Holy Spirit can speak to you and teach in a much clearer and richer way using only Scriptures?
His Word is not merely a printed word of the mind but it is able to penetrate your heart, dividing the soul and the spirit.
- You start looking up scholastic dictionaries and guides made by man beyond the direct interpretation of a word or sentence whenever you are unclear of the meaning.
- You also look up the Greek or Hebrew word to study the word's deeper meaning.
Why did you not ask God to help you comprehend instead?
The Greek used is a "marketplace" common greek, what makes you think it has a deeper, richer meaning than the english language that you already have mastered so much better than your command of greek?
Are you able to translate better than all the KJV translators appointed by God?
