The Popular Accusations of False Prophets

A word of Wisdom
On the Popular Accusations of False Prophets

There are certainly false prophets around but let us be careful to not go around accusing every Word of Faith, Charismatics or Pentecostals ministers as false prophets or any spiritual manifestations that we do not agree nor understand fully as being demonic and bring a reproach to the Holy Spirit.

Brethrens, that is the way of the world, the way the Adversary lived and that is not Charity or Agape love.

Is there no fear of the LORD our God?

31 Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Matthew 12:31 KJV

There is one that accuses the brethrens day and night - the Adversary, even accusing Moses, and he is pleased to make every believer to be like himself and he has been very much successful to entice many respectable teachers of men to sin with their tongues and even the unforgiven sin.

45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
John 5:45 KJV

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Revelation 12:10 KJV

On the Evangelical Fundamentalist side, there are also many so called popular teachers and ministers that preach the gospel with man's wisdom and many take their words as unerring truth but these are actually also not free of the error of the flesh, just like the Pharisees and scribes of old and in a different manner, just like the erring preachers of the Word of Faith, Charismatics and Pentecostals,

1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
1 Corinthians 2:1 KJV

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
1 Corinthians 2:4‭-‬5 KJV

These Evangelical Fundamentalist can also be labeled as false prophets if you measure them according to the way these popular fundamentalist teachers themselves taught, that is, according to their fruits (a certain popular Christian apologetics comes to mind).

The main problem with these popular modern fundamentalist teachers is in this verse,

20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Mark 16:20 KJV

They have no signs, zero signs, to confirm the word in which they have preached in man's wisdom.
These are having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof which scripture says we are to turn away from.

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:5‭-‬7 KJV

This too is hypocrisy.
They say but do not what they say nor demonstrate it in the power of Holy Spirit.
How else are we to know if they are Spirit-filled and are thus qualified to teach men?

3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do;
but do not ye after their works:
for they say, and do not.
Matthew 23:3 KJV

Unfortunately, we have very few who dared to speak out against these who are just as well equally leading believers astray as these are the main stream authority just like the Pharisees and scribes of old.

Now as long as we do not see a teacher with the likes of Paul's Spirit-filled preaching that has been confirmed with the power of the Holy Spirit, we need to treat these "teachers" equally as fallible men that does not understand spiritual things and are but a demonstration of the flesh.

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
1 Corinthians 2:4‭-‬5 KJV

Ultimately, we need to learn to hear directly from the Holy Spirit, the only Teacher we need and not depend in any way on men's teachings,
which I think I too have the Holy Spirit and is able to spiritually discern by the power of the Holy Spirit and not by natural discernment,
equally just as you and all these ministers of different denominations whom have divided the Kingdom of God.

40 ... and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 7:40 KJV

Let us all take special care not to be blinded by any of the both sides of the sadly divided same Body of the men of God who have grieved the Holy Spirit.

"There is a difference between the power of the Spirit as a gift, and the power of the Spirit for the grace of a holy life.

A man may often have a measure of the power of the Spirit,
but if there is not a large measure of the Spirit as the Spirit of grace and holiness,
the defect will be manifest in his work. "
- Andrew Murray

One side (Fundamentalist) overemphasises on the power of the Holy Spirit for the grace of a holy life and the other (Pentecostals) on exercising the power of the Holy Spirit as a gift.

Now, until the Church has rightfully a balanced and unified emphasis on both holiness and power, the defect of the flesh will always manifest in any of its work regardless of which side of the Body.
Until that happens, we cannot come into the glory and fullness of Christ, the perfection and maturity as sons of God.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:18‭-‬19 KJV
