A word of Wisdom: Biblical Preaching

A word of Wisdom:

Biblical Preaching

Acts 4:29-30 KJV

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

[30] By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

If you have been preaching the Gospel for years and have never had experienced a single healing or sign or wonder in demonstration of the Spirit and of God's power,

to confirm the Word you presched,

the Lord is telling you that your speech and your preaching are simply enticing words of man's wisdom.

And that is not biblical nor pleasing to God.

Repent.

1 Corinthians 2:1,4 KJV.

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

[4] And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

Mark 16:15-18,20 KJV

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

[16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

[17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

[18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

[20] And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
