A word of Knowledge: How Divine Healing Works

A word of Knowledge:

How Divine Healing Works

Matthew 4:23 KJV

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

How is it that Jesus was and is able to heal ALL the sick and the diseased?

How did that work specifically?

The Scripture did tell us exactly the mechanism and reason by which divine healing is made a possibility and a reality to the world.

Isaiah 53:4-5 KJV

Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

[5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

Matthew 8:17 KJV

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet,

saying,

Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

[Isaiah 53:4]

Jesus did not heal by blasting beams of power to obliterate the sicknesses and diseases into non-existence nor did He destroy them by the mighty power of God.

John 1:4 KJV

In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

He is the God of the living and not the dead.

He is Life.

He is God and God is love

1 John 4:8 KJV

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

He cannot do as the devil did, that is, to steal, to kill and to destroy.

John 10:10 KJV

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

So how did He heal if it is not by destruction or killing of the sicknesses and diseases?

Inferring from the Old Testament by Isaiah 53:4-5 above, Matthew 8:17 is saying this:

(Isaiah 53:4) => (Matthew 8:17)

a) Borne our griefs => took our infirmities

b) carried our sorrows => bare our sicknesses

And in Isaiah 53:5,

... the chastisement of our peace was upon Him;

and with His stripes we are healed.

Yes, He took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses upon Himself in love; the chastisement of our peace was upon Himself.

It is by His stripes that we are healed, the stripes that He was wounded for our transgressions and was bruised for our iniquities.

Do you get it?

He willingly suffered in our behalf as He bare all the sicknesses and diseases upon Himself that you may believe and know that He is the very same God, the only God Most High that so loved the world.

John 3:16-18 KJV

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

[17] For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

[18] He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 7:38 KJV

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

When we lay our hands on the sick, rivers of living waters
flows out of us through our hands to the sick. Thus healing virtue is the life of Jesus.

And so, that is how divine healing works in that the love of God be revealed to all men and women that you may believe that God is real!

Now, will that make a difference in who and what to focus your gaze upon (certainly not on the symptoms of sicknesses or the sick person) in your laying on of hands or praying for the sick?
