A word of Wisdom: The Key to Receive Healing

A word of Wisdom:

The Key to Receive Healing

Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Matthew 8:17 KJV

... and with his stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5 KJV

... by whose stripes ye were healed.

1 Peter 2:24 KJV

Many of us who are honest born-again believers have experienced,

either of ourselves or have observed in others, who are afflicted or oppressed in sicknesses and diseases,

Whom has been repeatedly asking for prayers for healing and has indeed been prayed for numerous of times,

But their sufferings did not seemed to be lifted by the LORD.

We have prayed and prayed, struggled and struggled hard to believe the promises of God the Healer in His Word but to no avail.

But we know that God's Word is True.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever more.

So, what seems to be the problem?

Now, the reason is this:

We can believe a promise, and at the same time not have the faith to appropriate it.

We have formed the habit of trying to appropriate by belief;

forgetting for a while that belief is a mental quality, and that when we try to believe ourselves into an experience, that our belief is actually resting on our own faith and not the faith of God.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV

The faith of God is not an intellectual belief of the mind but is a heart belief that can only be imparted by God and not of our works.

How do we appropriate this heart belief, the faith of God that heals?

The key is found in the following Scriptures that we have read so many times yet have managed to miss it:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 7:7‭-‬8 KJV

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1 John 3:22 KJV

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Matthew 21:22 KJV

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

John 16:24 KJV

Therefore I say unto you,

What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:24 KJV

###

The key is in the word "receive".

###

After having prayed and asked for our supplications to God and believed in receiving that which we ask the Lord to do according to His promise, we stopped short here and the struggles, waverings and doubts begins.

No, that is not the end of the conditions being laid out by the Lord for the fulfillment of His promise.

There is one more thing that we need to do on our part after our intercession in the Name of Jesus when the deliverance and miracle has not yet come.

We need to remain in the posture to:

1) Wait on God in meekness and lowliness in hearts and mind,

and patiently but fervently yearn to,

2)  RECEIVE the living faith of Jesus in the Holy Spirit

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:17 KJV

Meditate on the Word of God

1) Praising Jesus! unceasingly

2) Meditate on a verse on healing that the Lord impresses upon you

Eg.

Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof:

but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Matthew 8:8 KJV

"LORD Jesus, speak the word only and Thy servant shall be healed!"

By grace, the instant that God in the Holy Spirit,  imparts this heart belief for healing to us, through a living and throbbing faith in our heart,

You are healed!!

All Praise, All Glory and All Honour to the living God!

Jesus is alive!
