A Pentecost Day Message 


Acts 1:4-5 KJV

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 

[5] For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.


Acts 2:1-4 KJV

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 

Today is the celebration of the Day of Pentecost.


Believers, this is a pivotal and essential question in our walk of faith:


Acts 19:2 KJV

Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? 


Have you received from Jesus the Baptism with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown tongue?


Mark 16:17 KJV

And these signs shall follow them that believe; 

In my name shall they shall speak with new tongues;


Acts 2:4 KJV

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.


Acts 19:6 KJV

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; 

and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.


1 Corinthians 14:22 KJV

Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: 


1 Corinthians 14:39 KJV

Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.


The next question for those of us who have had received the Holy Ghost since we believed,

Are you walking and manifesting the 9 spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit which are the power of the Spirit, for the work of the Kingdom of God?


1 Corinthians 14:1 KJV

Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts


1 Corinthians 12:31 KJV

But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.


1 Corinthians 12:1,4-11 KJVS

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 

[4] Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 

[5] And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 

[6] And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 

[7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 


For to one is given by the Spirit 

1. The word of wisdom; 

2. To another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 

3. To another faith by the same Spirit; 

4. To another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 

5. To another the working of miracles; 

6. To another prophecy; 

7. To another discerning of spirits; 

8. To another divers kinds of tongues; 

9. To another the interpretation of tongues: 


[11] But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.


Which of the 9 spiritual powers have you been manifesting to date, 

for witnessing unto Jesus both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth?


Acts 1:8 KJV

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: 

and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

A Testimony of Healing - Joy Saturday, 11 April 2026 This is an account of my niece, Joy's healing journey. She is presently in the Primary 6 grade. For the past 1 year or more, Joy has been having excruciating stomach cramps, stomachaches and sometimes vomittings on a daily basis. This has affected her studies and has been forced to skip school for numerous days and sometimes even for the whole week due to the morning excruciating pain from stomach cramps. Even when she managed to tolerate the pain to attend school, occasionally she has to be excused halfway through the school day to come back home. A word of Knowledge: Easter? The Origin of Easter Easter {or the feast of Ishtar) actually originated as an ancient pagan celebration of the spring equinox and the renewal of life. In Christianity, the day was dedicated to observing the resurrection of Jesus Christ, celebrated around the time of the Jewish Passover. However, it is the Resurrection Day we are celebrating and nothing at all to do with the pagan day Easter.  The Church has sadly been making the grievous error of celebrating the "Resurrection Day"  as "Easter" .  Let us look at how the word Easter was used in Scripture.
