A word of Wisdom: On Healing the Sick

A word of Wisdom:

On Healing the Sick

We received Salvation because of what Jesus did on the cross for us, not what we ourselves did.

Conversely,

We received sicknesses and diseases because of the afflictions and oppressions of the devil upon us,

not what we the oppressed did to ourselves.

Let us not be deceived by the oppressor.

God is our Healer,

Exodus 15:26 KJV

for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Acts 10:38 KJV

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:

who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil;

for God was with him.

Jesus never blamed the cause of sicknesses on the sick like what other men and physicians and doctors did but He took and bare it upon Himself.

So shouldn't you do the same for the oppressed?

Matthew 8:17 KJV

Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Jesus always has compassion on the oppressed and always healed the sick.

So shouldn't you do the same for the sick?

Matthew 14:14 KJV

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

Likewise, we are to do the same for the oppressed and afflicted of sicknesses and diseases with compassion and never with indictment, judgement and reprove on the oppressed for the cause of the sickness.

Matthew 18:33 KJVS

Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

On the contrary, Jesus rebuke the disciples for failing to heal the sick, putting the blame on their faith.

Matthew 17:19-21 KJV

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said,

Why could not we cast him out?

[20] And Jesus said unto them,

Because of your unbelief:

for verily I say unto you,

If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,

Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

[21] Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Therefore, the fault is with us, the healers for failing to get the sick healed.

The fault is never with the sick person nor even with God as some might even blasphemously put it on,

Because Jesus ALWAYS healed the sick.

It is our unbelief, our wavering faith that failed to get the sick healed.

We need to take on that accountability and not put it on the sick.

Matthew 16:24 KJVS

Then said Jesus unto his disciples,

If any man will come after me,

let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
