A word of Knowledge: The Kingdom of God come with Power
A word of Knowledge
The Kingdom of God come with Power
Mark 9:1 KJV
And he said unto them,
Verily I say unto you,
That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
"The kingdom of God come with power" is clearly referring to the day of Pentecost where,
(Read also Acts 1:1-7)
Acts 1:8 KJV
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Which is to say, in order to have the power to witness onto Jesus, we need to receive the Holy Ghost.
He needs to come upon us all in a distinctly separate experience from water baptism.
"Witnesses unto me" refers to the following by the power of the Holy Spirit,
Luke 4:18-19 KJV
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;
he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty them that are bruised,
[19] To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Now, if the kingdom of God is merely referring to heaven or the restoration of the physical kingdom to Israel on earth, in which the disciples were mistaken or even (to modern believers) referring to His Second Coming, then Jesus would have been lying to His disciples.
Therefore, if this understanding is clear, then it should be also clear to you that every believer MUST BE BAPTISED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT,
in order to be able to preach the Kingdom of God and to witness Jesus both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth!
To do otherwise is simply disobedience and doing it carnally by your own strength and intellect.
Do you see it?
It is a mandatory command of Jesus to us all!
