 Bible Reading Plan 



Today, I hear a Bible reading plan from the Lord. 

This is the design:

- Read one chapter a day for each coloured category in sequence.

- Stop after all books of each coloured category has been completed reading.


Note: Be flexible if you cannot finish reading all the planned chapters in one day or any other obstacles.


2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV

Old Testament: 

Eg. Day 1 

Read 

Genesis 1, 

Joshua 1, 

Job 1, 

Isaiah 1,

Hosea 1


New Testament:

1) Read each chapter of all the 4 books of Gospel:

    - Matthew, Mark, Luke snd John 

    - Repeat cycle to go back to read Matthew 1 after all 4 books have been completed.

2) Read from Acts onwards until Revelations and then repeat the cycle starting from Acts again.


OT + NT Example,

Day 2:

- Genesis 2, 

- Joshua 2, 

- Job 2, 

- Isaiah 2,

- Hosea 2,

- Matthew 2,

- Acts 2

There are a total of 1,189 chapters in the standard standard 66-book King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. 

Chapter Breakdown

Old Testament: 929 chapters across 39 books

New Testament: 260 chapters across 27 books


1189 / 7 = 170 days = 6 months.

You should be able to complete the whole Bible in 6 months.
