A word of Wisdom: How do you preach the gospel?

A word of Wisdom:

How do you preach the gospel?

Examine these Scriptures and COMPARE and reflect on how you, your pastors and the modern churches preached the gospel.

Are you really following after the Word of God?

Let us take a look at hoe Jesus and the disciples preach the gospel such that the people are converted and believed on Jesus.

A) This is how Jesus did it:

John 2:11 KJV

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

John 2:23 KJV

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

John 4:48 KJV

Then said Jesus unto him,

Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

John 6:2 KJV

And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

John 7:31 KJV

And many of the people believed on him, and said,

When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?

John 10:37-38 KJV

If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

[38] But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

John 4:53 KJV

So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.

John 9:1,6-7,35-38 KJV

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. [6] When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

[7] And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

[35] Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? [36] He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

[37] And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

[38] And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

John 11:43-45 KJV

And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice,

Lazarus, come forth.

[44] And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them,

Loose him, and let him go.

[45] Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

B) This is how the apostles and disciples did it:

1 Corinthians 2:1,4-5 KJV

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

[4] And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

[5] That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Mark 16:20 KJV

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

Amen.

Acts 1:8 KJV

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Hebrews 2:3-4 KJVS

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; [4] God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Acts 2:4-7,32-33,37,40-41 KJV

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

[5] And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

[6] Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

[7] And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

[32] This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

[33] Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

[40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

[41] Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 8:6-7,12 KJV

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

[7] For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

[12] But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women

Acts 9:34-35 KJV

And Peter said unto him, AEneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

[35] And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

Acts 14:3 KJV

Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
