A word of Wisdom: Do you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost when you are Born Again?
A word of Wisdom:
Do you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost when you are Born Again?
Now, according to Scripture alone and not according to man's traditions,
the answer is clearly a NO.
Many believers have been misled by mainstream theology into a delusion apart from what the Scripture actually says.
They believe that you receive the Holy Ghost who will dwell within you the very moment you believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and being born again in Spirit.
They do not believed in receiving another distinct experience other than the born again experience.
They do not believe in the Baptism with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
They do not believe both in the speaking in tongues itself and the speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of receiving the Baptism with the Holy Ghost which is by our Lord Jesus Christ, against what the Word plainly and glaringly said.
Alas, unbelief have filled their hearts, blinded their eyes and closed their ears to the Way, the Truth qnd the Life.
They have become unbelieving believers who doubted most of the Word of God concerning supernatural signs and wonders, divine healings, miracles and casting out of devils etc,
except the Salvation of the soul that leads to the regeneration of the spirit, the born again experience.
They have become just like the Pharisees and scribes in Jesus' time who,
in the absence of the supernatural Presence and Power of God,.
have created another gospel, another faith,
Of a natural nature,
Of an intellectual head knowledge of man's wisdom and understandings,
Of a belief system of traditions, rituals and practices, rules and laws.
They are absolutely centered towards a building, oriented towards a hierarchical, legalistic institution,
that obeyed not the Word of God (in spirit and in letters) strictly but blindly followed the Church System and their pastors.
This is Churchianity just like Judaism of old and not the Christianity of the New Testament.
They have become the Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes who have rejected Jesus in spite of the Old Testament prophecies in times past and now have rejected the Holy Spirit in spite of the New Testament.
With Churchianity being the mainstream belief, many have missed out on the fullness of the Promise of the Father, even the Lord Jesus' baptism with the Holy Ghost poured out upon us.
Let us look at what the Promise of the Father is according to the Scripture:
Ezekiel 36:26-27 KJV
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
[27] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Notice there are 2 parts to the Promise.
Part 1) -
The new heart of flesh is the born again experience.
This heart is not referring to the physical body organ but is the 8nner man, the spirit of man, man's own spirit.
In order to have a new heart, to be taken away of a stony heart and replaced with a heart of flesh, one has to be born again of the Spirit of God,
that is, a heart recreated/regenerated in the image of the likeness of the same heart of the Spirit of God.
It perfectly fits the description for being born again of the Spirit in John 3:3-8.
This Part 1 of the Promise of the Father is fullfilled by believing in Jesus leading to being born again of the Spirit.
Part 2) -
The new spirit which is God's own spirit (v27 "my spirit") that is put within us, is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is being sent to us by Jesus only after He had ascended to heaven and was glorified.
John 16:7 KJV
Nevertheless I tell you the truth;
It is expedient for you that I go away:
for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you;
but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Note that the verses describes it as a new spirit which is God's own spirit (v27) which He will put within us.
He is putting Himself within us, contrasting the description for the "new heart" in v26 where it says our old stony heart will be replaced with a new heart of flesh and not His heart.
The word "heart" is being used interchangeably with "man's own spirit" or the inner man throughout the Bible.
Therefore, this new spirit that is Gid's own spirit that is put within us is on top of or in addition to man's own recreated spirit.
The water baptism of John and the water baptism in the name of Jesus were by men and not by Jesus or God.
John 4:1-2 KJV
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
[2] (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)
So then, how did this new spirit which is God's own spirit be sent to us?
Acts 1:4-5,8 KJV
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
[5] For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
This Part 2 of the Promise of the Father is being fully fulfilled at Pentecost day when the Baptism with the Holy Ghost came upon the 120 disciples in the house.
The disciples received Jesus' promise in Acts 1:4-5,8 which is the Baptism with the Holy Ghost upon us here on earth by Jesus Himself, who is in heaven, when He sent the gift of the Holy Ghost to us.
Joel 2:28-29 KJV
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
[29] And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Isaiah 32:15-17 KJV
Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
[16] Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
[17] And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
The same promise is also be onto us in the present day just as the disciples receive it.
Acts 2:38-39 KJV
Then Peter said unto them,
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
~~~
For those of you who have already received the remission of sins in the Name of Jesus and are born again of the Spirit,
I sincerely ask you this question:
Acts 19:2-6 KJV
Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?
And they said unto him,
We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
[3] And he said unto them,
Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said,
Unto John's baptism.
[4] Then said Paul,
John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
[5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
[6] And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Let me ask you,
if you have been water baptised and born again as in v4-5,
Why is there still a need in v6 for Paul to lay his hands upon them for the Holy Ghost to come upon them and they speak with tongues and prophesied,
if according to the mainstream theology you already have the Holy Spirit the moment you believed, water baptised, received the remission of sins and is born again?
Are you following after the Lord Jesus or are you following after your pastors and your church elders?
1 Corinthians 1:11-13 KJV
For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
[12] Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
[13] Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
Did your pastors and elders died for you? or did they gave you Salvation?
Acts 5:29 KJV
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said,
We ought to obey God rather than men.
Why would you reject the fullness of the Promise of the Father just because your pastors and church elders and traditions says so, against the very Word of God?
Why would you refuse the Lord Jesus to baptise you with the Holy Ghost with the Spirit giving you the utterance of tongues?
Why would you not thirst for and hunger for the gift of the Holy Spirit?
Luke 11:13 KJV
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
If you have not received the Holy Ghost since ye believed,
Ask the Father earnestly for the gift of the Holy Spirit which is the Baptism with the Holy Ghost by the Lord Jesus and,
Have faith in God,
He will give it to you.
