A word of Wisdom: Stop Focusing on, The Rapture or Going to Heaven or Changing the World

A word of Wisdom:

Stop Focusing on,
The Rapture or
Going to Heaven or
Changing the World

The Word of God's focus for you has never been about escaping and avoiding persecutions and tribulations in this fallen world;

Nor has it been to dwell in the Heaven when you die;

Nor has it been to change the world into a better place to live in.

That is not our hope.

On the contrary, the very opposite is true.

The focus for you has always been holding steadfast in faith in the face of the expected persecutions and tribulations in this fallen world,

For the coming of our Lord Jesus who shall establish and reign in a New, Perfect and Righteous world, here on earth for Eternity.

The focus for you, here and now on earth, the hope of glory, has always been this:

Acts 1:8 KJV

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:

and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

A word for such a perilious time as this last days:

Joel 3:9 KJV

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles;

Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

Judges 5:12 KJV

Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song:

arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.

Psalm 35:23 KJV

Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

Song of Solomon 4:16 KJV

Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out.

Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

Romans 13:11-12 KJV

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep:

for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

[12] The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God:

I speak this to your shame.

Ephesians 5:14-16 KJV

Wherefore he saith,

Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

[15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

[16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
