A word of Wisdom:

Repent, of what sin?


John 16:7-11 KJV

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; 

It is expedient for you that I go away: 

for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; 

but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 

[8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 

[9] Of sin, because they believe not on me; 

[10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 

[11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.


The sin to repent of for the world to receive Salvation is not every evil they have done or in their thoughts that are against God,

But is simply this:

To turn away from the world, idols and false gods and,

To turn to believe on Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God Most High.

For without the Holy Ghost dwelling within, unbelievers have no means of acknowledging or comprehending any of the other sins they have transgressed against God.


Philippians 2:12 KJV

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, 

work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.


The repentance of all other sins comes after conversion and gets worked on after receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost by the Word and the Holy Ghost Himself.


2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.


Romans 8:18-21 KJV

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 

[19] For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. [20] For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 

[21] Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.


That is the reason why we are to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God and heal the sick.

So that the world should hear, see and know of the truth of the Kingdom of God,

in order to be able to repent and believe on Jesus as our Christ, Lord and King.
