A word of Knowledge: The Baptism with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues
The Baptism with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues
Acts 2:1-4 KJV
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
[2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of FIRE, and it sat upon each of them.
[4] And they were all FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, and began to SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
There are many scriptural evidences of the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and that it comes with the evidence of the speaking of unknown tongues (not the gift of tongues which is a different thing).
Matthew 12:31-32 KJV
Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
[32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:
but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him,
neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
How is it that you refuse to believe in the Word of God that there is such a distinct experience as the Baptism with the Holy Ghost apart from the Born Again in the Spirit experience?
Oh, you of little faith!
How is it that you refuse to believe in the Word of God that the speaking of unknown tongues is the evidence for the Baptism with the Holy Ghost?
Oh, you of little faith?
How is it that you fear not the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?
Oh, you of little faith!
How is it that you dare speak against the Holy Ghost?
Oh you of little faith!
The following are the scripture evidences,
let the Word of God convince you of the Truth and not man's own interpretations and opinions:

The Promise of the Father in the Old Testament:
Ezekiel 36:26-27 KJV
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
[27] And I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Isaiah 28:9-12 KJV
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?
them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
[10] For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
[11] For with STAMMERING LIPS and ANOTHER TONGUE will he SPEAK to this people.
[12] To whom he said,
This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing:
yet they would not hear.

In the Gospels:
Matthew 3:11-12 KJV
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:
but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:
HE SHALL BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY GHOST, and with FIRE:
[12] Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable FIRE.
Matthew 3:16 KJV
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Matthew 20:22-23 KJV
But Jesus answered and said,
Ye know not what ye ask.
Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of,
and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
They say unto him, We are able.
[23] And he saith unto them,
Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and BE BAPTIZED WITH THE BAPTISM THAT I AM BAPTIZED WITH:
Mark 1:8-10 KJV
I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY GHOST.
[9] And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
[10] And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
Mark 16:15-17 KJV
And he said unto them,
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
[16] He that BELIEVETH and is BAPTIZED shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
[17] And these signs shall follow them that BELIEVE;
In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES;
Luke 3:16-17 KJV
John answered, saying unto them all,
I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose:
he shall BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY GHOST and with FIRE:
[17] Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with FIRE unquenchable.
John 1:32-34 KJV
And John bare record, saying,
I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
[33] And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me,
Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is HE WHICH BAPTIZETH WITH THE HOLY GHOST.
[34] And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
John 4:1-2 KJV
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
[2] (Though JESUS HIMSELF BAPTIZED NOT, but his disciples,)
John 7:38-39 KJV
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
[39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: FOR THE HOLY GHOST WAS NOT YET GIVEN;
because that JESUS WAS NOT YET GLORIFIED).
John 14:15-21,23-24 KJV
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever;
[17] Even the Spirit of truth;
whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:
but ye know him;
for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
[18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
[19] Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
[20] At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
[21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:
and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
[23] Jesus answered and said unto him,
If a man love me, he will keep my words:
and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
[24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:
and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 14:25-26 KJV
These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:7-8,10-15 KJV
Nevertheless I tell you the truth;
It is expedient for you that I go away:
for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you;
but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
[8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
[10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
[11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
[12] I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
for he shall not speak of himself;
but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[14] He shall glorify me:
for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[15] All things that the Father hath are mine:
therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

After the Gospels:
Acts 1:3-5,8 KJV
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and SPEAKING OF THE THINGS PERTAINING TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD:
[4] And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
[5] For John truly baptized with water; but YE SHALL BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST not many days hence.
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Luke 11:13 KJV
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children:
HOW MUCH MORE SHALL YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THEM that ASK HIM?
Romans 14:17 KJV
For the KINGDOM OF GOD IS not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy IN THE HOLY GHOST.
Luke 17:21 KJV
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU.
Acts 2:38-39 KJV
Then Peter said unto them,
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST.
[39] For the PROMISE is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 8:12-17 KJV
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
[13] Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
[14] Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
[15] Who, when they were come down, PRAYED for them, that they might RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST:
[16] (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
[17] Then LAID they THEIR HANDS on them, and they RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST.
Acts 9:17-18 KJV
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and PUTTING HIS HANDS on him said,
Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST.
[18] And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
Acts 10:1-2,44-48 KJV
There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
[2] A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
...
[44] While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
[45] And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was POURED OUT THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST.
[46] For they heard them SPEAK WITH TONGUES, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
[47] Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
[48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Acts 11:4,12-18 KJV
But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,
...
[12] And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting.
Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:
[13] And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
[14] Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
[15] And as I began to speak, THE HOLY GHOST FELL ON THEM, AS ON US AT THE BEGINNING.
[16] Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said,
John indeed baptized with water;
but YE SHALL BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST.
[17] Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ;
what was I, that I could withstand God?
[18] When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying,
Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Acts 19:1-6 KJV
And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth,
Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
[2] He said unto them,
HAVE YE RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST SINCE YE BELIEVED?
And they said unto him,
We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
[3] And he said unto them,
Unto what then were ye baptized?
And they said, Unto John's baptism.
[4] Then said Paul,
John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
[5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
[6] And WHEN PAUL HAD LAID HIS HANDS UPON THEM, THE HOLY GHOST CAME ON THEM;
and they SPAKE WITH TONGUES, and prophesied.

After Book of Acts
The initial evidence of tongues that "the Spirit gave utterance" upon the Baptism with the Holy Ghost,
is not to be confused with the gift of divers kinds of tongues of the Holy Spirit mentioned after the Book of Acts in the Epistles.
The gift of tongues is prophesying to the church that requires the gift of the interpretation of tongues to understand.
So, all of the followings are referring to the gift of tongues and not the initial evidence of tongues upon the Baptism with the Holy Ghost.
1 Corinthians 12:10-12 KJV
... To another divers kinds of tongues;
to another the interpretation of tongues:
[11] But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
[12] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:28 KJV
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:30-31 KJV
Have all the gifts of healing?
do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
[31] But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Corinthians 13:1-2 KJV
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
[2] And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:8-9 KJV
Charity never faileth:
but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;
whether there be tongues, they shall cease;
whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
[9] For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
1 Corinthians 14:2-4 KJV
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God:
for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
[3] But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
[4] He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself;
but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
1 Corinthians 14:5 KJV
I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied:
for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
1 Corinthians 14:9 KJV
So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.
1 Corinthians 14:13-14 KJV
Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
[14] For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
1 Corinthians 14:18 KJV
I thank my God, I SPEAK WITH TONGUES more than ye all.
1 Corinthians 14:18-19 KJV
I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
[19] Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
1 Corinthians 14:22 KJV
Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not:
but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
1 Corinthians 14:26-27 KJV
How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation.
Let all things be done unto edifying.
[27] If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
1 Corinthians 14:39-40 KJV
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy,
and forbid not to speak with tongues.
[40] Let all things be done decently and in order.
~~~~~~~
Conclusion:
After examining the Scripture, do you now believe in the Word of God and not in the words of men?
If you are already Born Again in the Spirit, you too can receive the gift of the Holy Spirit which is the Baptism with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues,
whom Jesus Himself will baptize you, when you ask of the Father.
The Word of God dictates our understanding and interpretations 9f our experiences or our lack of the experiences spoken of in the Scripture,
not other men's or even your own understanding.
Your experiences or the lack of the experiences spoken of in the Scripture or your unbelief,
that do not agree with the Word,
does not change the Word of God nor does it change the understanding of God's Word.
It simply means you did not comprehend the Word of God.
Romans 3:3-4 KJV
For what if some did not believe?
shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
[4] God forbid:
yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;
as it is written,
That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Acts 5:29 KJV
We ought to obey God rather than men.
Mark 5:36 KJV
Be not afraid, only believe.
Acts 19:2 KJV
Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?
