A word of Wisdom: Another Jesus, Another spirit, Another gospel

A word of Wisdom:

Another Jesus, Another spirit, Another gospel

2 Corinthians 11:3-4 KJV

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

[4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached,

or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received,

or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Let us look at these 3 points and you will be able to clearly decide for yourself whether,

You are following in the Way, the Truth and the Life as prescribed in the Word of God

or

Are you really blinded in error;

Regardless of your education, background, traditions and what you have been taught all your life.

1) Who is the Jesus whom the apostles have proclaimed?

Matthew 3:11-12 KJV

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:

but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:

He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

[12] Whose fan is in His hand, and He will throughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Jesus is the Baptiser with the Holy Ghost and fire.

I will ask you this one thing,

Have you received the baptism with the Holy Ghost and fire since you believed?

Before you answer the question, do not confuse the experience of being Born of the Spirit, which is by the Father, with the Baptism with the Holy Ghost by Jesus.

Jesus Himself was Born of the Spirit.

Matthew 1:18 KJV

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:

When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Luke 1:35 KJV

And the angel answered and said unto her [Mary],

The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

As for us, when we were born of the flesh, we were born of the fallen spirit inherited from Adam's fallen spirit.

Therefore, we need to be Born Again of the Spirit in order to be like Jesus who was Born of the Spirit.

John 3:5-8 KJV

Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

You can see from the verses above  that you will not be able to precisely pin point when you are being Born Again of the Spirit as the event happens like the wind, you cannot tell when it comes and when it goes.

Why is it necessary for Jesus and for you to be born of the Spirit?

It is for this reason,

John 3:3 KJV

Jesus answered and said unto him,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Now, you might ask,

What is the kingdom of God that we are to see?

Romans 14:17 KJV

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

That is to say, that you need to be Born Again of the Spirit first, as a pre-requisite, before you can even see the righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Now, to see the Kingdom of God is not the same thing as to live in the Kingdom. Being Born Again is just the entry requirements of it.

How was Jesus able to live in the Kingdom of God after He was Born of the Spirit?

Matthew 3:15-17 KJV

And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.

Then he suffered him.

[16] And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water:

and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

[17] And lo a voice from heaven, saying,

This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

You csn see that the water baptism of John for repentance is necessary to fulfill all righteousness, even Jesus had to do it even though He is already Born of the Spirit.

Therefore, you too, must go through the water baptism for repentance just as Jesus did to fulfill all righteousness.

Next, when Jesus came out of the water, the Spirit of God came upon Him even though He is already Born of the Spirit.

Therefore, you can see that being Born of the Spirit is not the same thing as the Holy Spirit coming upon you to dwell in you.

The Holy Spirit dwells in Jesus at this point and so He is now able to live and walk in "righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost".

He cannot actually LIVE IN the Holy Ghost without the Holy Ghost be DWELLING IN Him first, right?

In addition, you can also see that this is the will of the Father as it is His will for us,

For the Father tells us He is well pleased immediately after Jesus received the Holy Ghost.

Hence, it is absolutely necessary for us to receive the Holy Ghost by Jesus the Baptiser with the Holy Ghost if you are to please God.

Are you following the same Jesus whom the apostles have proclaimed Him to be, EVERYTHING that He has showed us?

Or are you really following anotherJesus where you pick and choose what you want to follow according to only what you want to hear and accept, or according to another different Jesus that men, other than the apostles, erroneously preached to you?

2) Who is the spirit you should have received?

The spirit that you should have received is the Holy Spirit whom ONLY Jesus will baptised you with.

It is not any other religious evil spirits nor is it given by any other man on earth.

How do you know if you have received the Holy Spirit by Jesus?

You receive the gift of the Holy Spirit according to the Jesus whom the apostles preached, according to the manner taught in the Word of God.

Luke 11:13 KJV

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?

Before you receive, you have to ask the Father for the gift. That means you ought to desire and hunger for more of God.

It is really just common sense that if you do not want nor desire more of God or even reject the Holy Spirit, you will not receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And that is what is happening to many believers who would rather receive the same religious spirits from men as the scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees of old had received than to desire the Spirit of God whom Jesus will baptised you with.

Acts 1:4-5,8 KJV

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith He, ye have heard of me.

[5] For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus specifically instructed us to receive the promise of the gift of the Holy Ghost so that we will receive power and be able to be witnesses onto Him to the uttermost part of the earth.

How does receiving the baptism with the Holy Ghost by Jesus looks like for us?

Acts 2:1-4 KJV

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

[2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

[3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

[4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

How do you know if you have received the gift of the Holy Ghost and not some other religious spirits or evil spirits?

The evidence of having received the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and fire is really plain and lear in v4 above but many believers with religious spirits instead of the Holy Spirit are blinded to ignore the significance of this very verse.

That is,

"[4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

The evidence is that as a result of Jesus baptising you with the Holy Ghost, the Spirit gave you the utterance.

What utterance?

Simply, "to speak with other tongues."

1 John 4:1-3 KJV

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:

Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Also, test the spirit, be it supernatural manifestations or be it words from the mouth of men or be it voices or thoughts speaking to you coming from the external of your own mind.

Who do you listen to, is it the Jesus preached by the apostles and described in the Word

Or

The preachers and pastors who have received not the Holy Spirit by Jesus but who have received another spirit (religious spirits)?

3) What is the gospel that you have accepted?

Galatians 1:6-10 KJV

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

[9] As we said before, so say I now again,

If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

[10] For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

This is a grave matter and do not brush it away as though it does not concern you.

The Scripture warned us twice:

"If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

Did you receive another gospel that simply proclaims that the good news is to be saved and then go to heaven?

Did you receive another gospel that simply proclaims that the good news is that Jesus died for your sins and now you can hsve a good Christian life on earth and do good to the world and enjoy a beautiful, holy everlasting life in heaven when you die?

In both cases, the end point is about an everlasting life in heaven and nothing at all has been said of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

Is it not written in the prayer that Jesus taught us,

Matthew 6:10 KJV

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

A telltale sign that you have accepted another gospel is that the false gospel has no emphasis at all on "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.".

The sctivities and teachings are always mostly centered on the Church and the church building and not about the Kingdom of God in the Way, the Truth and the Life.

However, the gospel or good news that Jesus Himself preached is the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

The gospel that the apostles preached is the gospel of Jesus in which He preached, which is the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 4:17 KJV

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,

Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 4:23 KJV

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 10:7-8 KJV

And as ye go, preach, saying,

The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

[8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Luke 4:43 KJV

And He said unto them,

I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

The Kingdom of God is the righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Romans 14:17-18 KJV

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

[18] For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

If you have not received the baptism with the Holy Spirit by Jesus Himself, you have received a different gospel other than the good news that Jesus and the apostles preached.

The good news of the Kingdom of God is this:

Revelation 21:1-4 KJV

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,

Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

[4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:

for the former things are passed away.

The power of the Holy Spirit in you will bring this good news to fruition.

Yes, God Himself, working through your hands will bring the good news  into a reality.

But in order to do that, Jesus must first baptised you with the Holy Ghost and fire and the power of God shall come upon you to witness to the world what it means for the good news of the Kingdom of God to be on earth presently and what the fullness and fruition of the Kingdom will be in the future which is to come and which will come to pass.

Are you willing to compare your way, your truth and your life against the Way, the Truth and the Life according to the gospel of the Kingdom of God?

Are you following another Jesus?

Have you received another spirit?

Have you accepted another gospel?
