A word of Wisdom: Worship in Songs

A word of Wisdom:

Worship in Songs

Worship in songs is about God and not about you.

It is not about you enjoying the song and music.

It is not about showing off your performance in the song for others or even for God to see.

It is not about you hitting the high notes or right pitch or melody.

It is not about how good you sound to yourself or to others.

It is not about how you feel while singing.

It is not about your actions and gestures.

It is not about whether you stand or whether you are seated.

It is not about you in any way.

It is intended for you to express your love, adoration and admiration for God and God alone, through the lyrics and music of the song.

It is for you to bask in the Presence of God.

It is for to come into the Glory of God.

It is for you to join fully - spirit, soul and body, in a communion with God.

It is for you to be all in all as One with God alone.
